Educational Concessions and Funds

 EDUCATIONAL CONCESSIONS

  • Fee concession and stipend will be given to candidates whose parents produce the Certificate of Registration, showing thereby that they belong to the Fishermen Community. However, they have to pay the Caution Deposit at the time of enrolment.
  • Students belonging to the Other Backward Communities, Socially and Educationally Backward Classes and the Forward Communities under the Kumara Pillai Commission Report, are eligible for fee concession. They have to (a) pay the Caution Deposit at the time of enrolment (b) produce an income certificate from the Village Officer, in the revised form. The income limit of the parents or guardians prescribed for the award of educational concessions to the OBC, SEBC students undergoing the Degree Course and PG course is below 6 lakhs per annum. The income of the guardians will be considered only if the parents are no longer living.
  • Students belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and converts from these are exempted from paying the fees and Caution Deposit
  • Students eligible for full fee concession (SC/ST), OBC, OEC and children of Registered Fishermen should submit their application to the Principal in the prescribed form available in the College Office within 15 days of their admission to the College.

Student's Fund

The Students’ Fund is the lifeline of many of our underprivileged students. Aid is granted by way of relief in fees, financing, books, clothes and writing materials. The responsibility for disbursement of this fund rests with the Principal and the Management. Applications to avail of this fund must reach the Principal by 31 August.

Student's Aid Fund

The University of Kerala provides a Students’ Aid Fund for economically backward students. Applications to avail of this Fund must reach the Principal by 31 August.
