INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE CELL (IQAC)

 The IQAC which aims at quality sustenance coordinates and supervises the post-accreditation programmes. It develops an action plan for the academic year and forwards suggestions and recommendations in important areas related to need-based academic programmes and the improvement of infrastructural facilities.

CENTRAL PLANNING COMMITTEE

 The Committee undertakes the overall planning of the activities on the campus. It gathers proposals from various departments and monitors the implementation of the proposals.

PARENT-TEACHER   ASSOCIATION (PTA)                                                                                             

 The Parent-Teacher Association aims at a co-operative effort on the part of the parents and teachers for the overall development of the college. This association conducts seminars on Career Guidance, Counselling and also sees that vocational training classes are conducted for the students. Financial aid for economically backward and deserving students and awards for proficiency are some of the other services rendered by this association.             

INternal Compliance Cell

 The Body executes all the decisions made by the IQAC. It is made up of the Principal, Heads of Departments, the Staff Secretary, the Staff Advisor and the Chairman of the College Union. Executive body includes sub committees constituted by faculty and student.

COLLEGE LEVEL MONITORING COMMITTEE

This Committee is responsible for the conduct of the First Degree Programme. It ensures minimum instructional days and makes arrangements for internal examinations, timely uploading of the CE and registration of students for the examination. The Committee supervises course outcomes and programmes’ specific outcomes and updates syllabus in the college website. The Committee consists of the Principal who will also serve as the chairman, a convenor and Heads of Departments.

ACADEMIC AUDIT COMMITTEE

The weekly work plan is prepared by the faculty which is subsequently audited by the IQAC, the HoD and the Principal weekly, monthly and annually.

FEEDBACK COMMITTEE

This committee collects feedback   from   the   students   and all stakeholders, which is analysed by the committee and recommendations are given for appropriate improvement

EXAMINATION COMMITTEE

The Examination Committee is responsible for conducting the University exams for the Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses. This Committee works in unison with the Academic Forum.

PUBLICATIONS COMMITTEE

 The Publications Committee is in charge of bringing out the publications in the College – the newsletter, the college magazine and the college interdisciplinary research journal, Seek.

IT COMMITTEE

 The IT Committee has been set up with courses designed by the members of this Committee. Satellite-enabled instruction in Spoken and Written English is offered. The College provides a comprehensive training programme to the students to improve their Soft Skills and English language competency. 

RESEARCH COMMITTEE

 The Research Committee is constituted to enhance the academic programmes in the college. It keeps the members of the faculty informed of the schemes of the UGC and other funding agencies. The Committee also makes sure that the proposals are submitted on time and that follow- up action is taken.

WEBSITE COMMITTEE

 The Committee is in charge of updating the website periodically. The college website www.allsaintscollege.in provides information about the College and its activities.

INFO BANK COMMITTEE

 This Committee has been constituted to maintain a chronological record of the events in the College.

HANDBOOK COMMITTEE

 This Committee is responsible for updating the College Handbook which is an annual publication that provides information about the College.


LIBRARY COMMITTEE

The Library Committee aims at promoting equitable access to all information resources. The Committee is responsible for recommending, selecting and purchase of books for the library. Members of the Committee are the Librarian, three senior teaching faculty drawn from the Science, Arts and Commerce streams and a member of the IQAC.

DISCIPLINE COMMITTEE

The Discipline Committee is incharge of ensuring the campus congenial to study. The Committee consists of senior faculty members, NSS Programme Officers, the Staff Advisor, elected members of the College Council and five elected student representatives of the College Union.

ETHICS COMMITTEE

The Ethics committee is responsible for instilling basic human values in students thus making them better human beings. It also ensures that the code of conduct in the College is strictly followed.

CULTURAL PROGRAM COMMITTEE

Elected members of the teaching faculty are put in charge of the activities of Arts Club. The Arts Club of the College bears responsibility for conducting various cultural programmes and competitions within the campus. The Club also supervises and trains students for intercollegiate, state and national level competitions. The Club also organizes Film Festival in the campus.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT CLUB

Entrepreneurship Development Club functions under Innovation Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC) with Registration number EDC/TVM/43/17. IEDCs are small incubators located with in the colleges, where students having innovative ideas can pursue entrepreneurship along with their studies. At these centres, students can pursue entrepreneurial activities which include ideations, hackathons, business modelling sessions, and meet-the mentor sessions.

EQUAL OPPORTUNITY CELL

The club has been established with the aim of ensuring the students have a genuine understanding of the layers of inequality that exists in society and the gendered nature of the same. The main problems faced by people viewed as disabled, or with disabilities, or of minority status, stems from disabling environmental, economic and cultural barriers. Disability and minority are therefore equal rights issues on a par with other forms of unjustifiable discrimination and prejudices. The Equal Opportunity Cell was set up by the to address these and other urgent issues concerning SC, ST, OBC and persons with disabilities (PwD). The Club seeks to offer mechanisms to help the students of the college who are female, understand these in equalities and to negotiate them towards creating a positive, productive and pro-active  outlook and future.

COUNSELLING & PSYCHOTHERAPY CELL

This cell aims at providing counseling to students. It helps the students deal with both personal as well as academic problems. It helps the students to identify their strengths and weaknesses and choose their careers in accordance with this. To this end, the cell organizes seminars, workshops and career guidance programmes. The cell also extends the services of professional counselors to the students.


CAREER GUIDANCE CELL

The Career Guidance Cell aims at giving students information and guidance on the best placements available. The cell conducts seminars and campus recruitment drives. It also coordinates career counselling sessions on the latest trends in the job arena.

NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME (NSS)

The aim of the NSS is personality development through community service. The NSS gives students opportunities to engage themselves in constructive action for social welfare. Educational, health related agricultural and self-employment programmes are included in the various activities.

EK BHARAT SHRESHTHA BHARAT (EBSB)

The EBSB club has been instituted as per the directions of the Government of India to foster cultural understanding between the various states of India and their people. The college is partnered with Govt. College, Dhaliara, Himachal Pradesh so as to learn more about the culture and history of the state.

WOMEN CELL

Established in association with the Kerala State Women’s Development Corporation, the cell aims to empower women through personal, social, cultural and economic self-reliance. The cell creates awareness, bolsters skills and helps students take pride in their identities.

GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL MECHANISM

ANTI-RAGGING GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL CELL

The Cell looks into the grievances of the freshers. Two senior members of the teaching faculty, a senior member of the administrative staff and the student Counsellor make up this cell. A complaint box is set up for this purpose. The Committee takes the complaints related to ragging seriously and corrective measures are taken immediately.

Text Box: SGRIEVANCE REDRESSAL CELL FOR STUDENTS

This Committee has the authority to settle grievances raised by the students of the College. The students are expected to lodge their grievances with their respective tutors who will in turn intimate the matter to the Committee for necessary action. If the matter is not resolved by the Committee, the student can approach the Principal.

SPECIAL GRIEVANCE CELL FOR THE WELFARE OF SC/ST/OBC STUDENTS

This Cell has been formed to assist students belonging to the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Community

GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL CELL FOR STAFF

The Cell functions according to the norms and procedures laid down by the University. It looks into the grievances of the Staff and Support Staff of the College.

DIVYANGYAN CELL

As per the University Order regarding the formulation of the internal committee for the students with disabilities in the college, the council of the college has constituted an internal committee on 20th January 2019. The main objective of the scheme is to provide encouragement and support to differently abled students to pursue education and also to assist them in all their needs on campus
