The Communities of Practice of the College was inaugurated on 2nd October, 2020, on the day of observance of Gandhi Jayanti, by Dr. Shashi Taroor, MP to bring together people from all walks of life towards a goal of cooperation and commitment for societal engagement and upliftment. It also aimed at utilising the benefits of shared knowledge and expertise for enhanced creativity, increased efficiency and improved community partnerships. The CoP of the College has been the key partner in the Let Us Dream Annual International Conference which is a platform for sharing, learning from, and celebrating the diversity of people’s selfless acts of care, compassion, and concern for community. This conference is a space where people come to share their experiences, learn from each other, and celebrate the diversity of efforts that contribute to the well-being of our communities. Since its inception in 2017 the annual conferences have served as a venue for dynamic discussions grounded in research, practical experience, and best practices aimed at community development. These events are organized by passionate volunteer teams and hosted at various institutions worldwide, promoting international dialogue and collaboration. The conference also provides opportunities for students, researchers, and practitioners to exchange knowledge and experiences, amplifying collective efforts to make a meaningful impact on community improvement. The College hosted the Conference during the year 2023-24, whereas the current Conference was held and hosted by the Christ Nagar College, Maranalloor, Trivandrum on 16th November, 2024.
