National Cadet Corps- NCC

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is the premier youth organization of India that works to instill discipline, leadership, and a sense of patriotic commitment among students. Operating under the Ministry of Defence, NCC provides young citizens with opportunities for all-round development through military-style training, adventure activities, and community service. With the motto "Unity and Discipline," NCC plays a vital role in nurturing responsible citizens and future leaders. It empowers youth to contribute to nation-building while developing qualities like teamwork, resilience, and self-confidence.

All Saints’ College started its NCC (1K Girls BN NCC) unit in the academic year 2023-24, under the leadership of our newly commissioned ANO (Associate NCC Officer), Lt. (Dr) Margrette Leena V, marking a significant milestone in our journey toward holistic education and youth empowerment. As a Women’s Battalion, our NCC unit is dedicated to nurturing discipline, leadership, and a spirit of national service among our students. The introduction of NCC at All Saints’ aligns with our commitment to shaping confident, socially responsible, and resilient young women who can make meaningful contributions to society and the nation. Through regular training, camps, and community outreach programs, our cadets gain exposure to military culture, civic responsibility, and physical fitness, while also building character and self-confidence. We envision our NCC unit as a dynamic platform for young women to explore their potential, embrace values of unity and patriotism, and grow into future leaders who inspire change.
