PRAKRUTHI MITHRA AWARD 

The Department of Environmental Sciences received the prestigious ‘Prakruthi Mithra Award’ (Institutional category) for their excellent, outstanding and fruitful services offered by them to conserve floral and faunal diversity in the campus. The award was instituted by Department of Forest and Wild Life, Govt. of Kerala. Activities included plantation of Rare, Endangered and Threatened varieties of plant species and other environmental conservation strategies to improve the floral and faunal diversity in the campus.
