The college management has all along motivated the faculty to take up research activities. The ample opportunities provided for professional development has been availed by the faculty of the department of physics. Of the 8 teaching faculty 6 are PhD holders and 2 are currently pursuing their PhD. All the teachers are actively involved in research activities and have a number of research publications to their credit; published in national/international journals, proceedings etc
