The key note address on the topic ‘Raman Effect @ 91: Life and Times of Sir C V Raman’ was delivered by Dr. K.N. Narayanan Unni, Principal Scientist and Head, Photosciences and Photonics Section, CSIR-NIIST.
The theme presentation was delivered by Dr. Yoosaf Karuvath, Scientist, Photosciences and Photonics, CSIR-NIIST, TVM, on the topic ‘Design and Applications of Raman Spectrometer’.
Following theme presentation, there was a demonstration of Handheld Raman Spectrometer by Ms. Neethu Emmanuel, Research Scholar, Photosciences and Photonics Section, CSIR-NIIST.
Prof. Dr. Augusti, Founder General Secretary of KAS addressed the students with a motivational speech on health aspects.
In the valedictory session, Dr. K. B. Rameshkumar, General Secretary, KAS, extended warm regards and gratitude to all for the smooth conduct of the programme.
