Seminars & Workshops

• UGC-Sponsored National Seminar on “Recent and Emerging Advances in Chemical Sciences “(REACS-2015) was conducted on 8th and 9th January 2015. The Seminar was inaugurated by Dr. T.P.D. Rajan, Senior Scientist, NIIST, Thiruvananthapuram.

    

• A Two day International Conference on “Emerging Frontiers and Challenges in Chemistry” ICEFCC-2014 on 17th and 18th February 2014. The Conference was inaugurated by Dr. V. N. Rajashekaran Pillai, Executive Vice President and Ex Officio Principal Secretary, Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment, Govt. of Kerala, Sasthra Bhavan. Keynote address by Dr. G. J. Sanjayan, Scientist, Division of Organic Chemistry, National Chemical Laboratory, Pune.

• A one day National seminar on “Advances in Chemistry Research and Opportunities” was held on 5-08-2013, sponsored by the KSCTE, Pattom . Dr. K Mohanan, former professor University of Kerala inaugurated the seminar.

• A seminar on group theory and its application was conducted on 21-10-2013 Dr Simi A, dept of chemistry St Josephs College Trichy, Tamil Nadu was the speaker.
•  Nation Seminar on ‘Emerging Trends in Materials Science’, 20^th and 21^st July 2011.  The seminar was inaugurated  by Dr. A Jayakrishnan, vice Chancellor, University of Kerala.

WORKSHOPS

• One day work shop on ‘Microscale Experiments in Chemistry’ on 09-10-2012. Dr. S Murugan, Retd. HOD, Dr. S. Sudhakumari, Assistant Professor of Chemistry, Hindu College, Nagercoil were the resource persons.
