Departmental Activities 2018-2019

• The activities of the Hindii Department Association for the Year 2019-20 was Inaugurated on 02.08.2019.Dr.Rama Haridas (Retd. Professor , NSS Neeramankara,TVM) was the Chief Guest. Prof.Haridas (Retd Professor Vyasa College) was a Special Guest
• .In Celebration of the Hindi Day (Sept-14) Dept. of Hindi has conducted various activities (On 16.09.2019 to 30.09.2019)

• Bhadra.R of S1 B.Com Finance Won Third Prize (14.10.2019) for Elocution in All India Hindi youth festival conducted by Kerala Hindi PracharSabha in Celebration of Hindi Day. 

 

 

 

 Departmental Activities 2018-2019

• The Department of Hindi organized a one day programme related with Vachan Diwas on 19th June 2018 . The chief guest on that occasion was Dr. Sivakumar P.J (Retd. HOD of University College, Thiruvananthapuram). During the celebration an interesting interactive session had done with the students.

• In connection with Hindi Fortnight Celebration which was conducted by Census Office, Thiruvananthapuram on 5th September 2018 . Our students Jenifer Raj and Beyoola of DC 1 Communicative English got 3rd prize for translation and quiz competition

• Hindi Diwas celebrated in our department on 14th September 2018 by class wise with unique programs

• Hindi Association was inaugurated on 12th October 2018  by Dr. Bindu Velsar (Asst. Professor, Govt. Women’s College, Thiruvananthapuram).She delivered a nice speech on Hindi Language and Literature. 

• Ministry of youth affairs & Sports , Govt. of India was conducted Declamation contest on 3rd December 2018. Our college students was participated and Megha C Babu of DC1 Communicative English got complementary prize. 
• On the occasion of  "Vishwa Hindi Diwas "the students of DC1 & DC2 published 'BHOONDEM' manuscript magazine volume 4 on 10th January 2019. 

• Dr. Sheeba SL & Dr. Chithra VS are published articles in various journals and also paper presented in seminars

Hindi association was inaugurated on 25thSeptember 2017.by Dr. Girija Kumari. R, Retd. Professor of Govt. Women’s College. Thiruvananthapuram. She delivered a talk on Hindi Language and Literature

Vishwa Hindi Divas celebrated in our department on 10thJanuary 2018 by class wise with unique programmes and competition organised related to Hindi poem, Essay writing and story writing etc. in Hindi by the students of various classes

Departmental Activities 2013-2014

•  Teaching staff : Smt. Bernaditte Vincent, Smt. Aniamma George, Nodal Officer (Kerala State Higher Education Council, Scholarship Scheme)
• Inaugural function of the Hindi association was held on 27th august 2013. Dr. M S Vinyachandran, Associate Professor & Head, Department of Hindi, University College inaugurated the Hindi Association. Released Ist Volume of the a manuscript named “Boondem”
• Smt. Aniamma George participated in the One day workshop on Higher Education Scholarship Scheme held at the Seminar Hall, Science & Technology Museum, Priyadershini Planetarium, Trivandrum organised by the Kerala State Higher Education Council on 30th August 2013.
• Smt. Aniamma George attended the National Seminar sponsored by UGC on the theme “Empowerment of women” at All Saints’ College, Trivandrum on 29th &30th of January 2014.
• Smt. Bernard Vincent & Smt. Aniamma George attended two day National Seminar on 21st Century Hindi Literature “sponsored by UGC at Government Women’s College Trivandrum on 6th and 7th of February 2014.
• The students of All Saints’ College (Arya A, Approva Chandra Nath of DC I English and Gouri Jayan DC I B.com) participated in the state level competitions in Hindi conducted by Kerala Hindi Prachar Sabha as a part of their Fort Night celebration September 2013.
