• Inauguration of Physics association was carried out by Dr. K. P Surendran, Scientist, NIIST, Trivandrum, Followed by a talk on ”Higg’s Boson”
• Final year Physics and open course Astronony and Astro Physics students were taken to Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre to witness rocket launch and visited the space museum as a part of space week celebrations during October 2014.
• A quiz was conducted on interdepartmental basis
• A departmental magazine – ‘Ripples’is released
• A manuscript by students was released.
